Hartmut "Haki" Ritzerfeld (born October 7, 1950 in Büsbach , zu Stolberg (Rhld.) ) Is a German painter of neo-expressive , figurative pictures.

Life

Hartmut Ritzerfeld was trained as a window dresser from 1965 to 1968 before studying with Joseph Beuys (painting, object and action art) and Karl Kneidl (stage design) from 1969 to 1976 at the Düsseldorf Art Academy . In 1975 he became a master student of Joseph Beuys. This was followed by a study visit to Zurich . He then lived in Aachen for a short time , then moved back to Stolberg in his parents' house.

Ritzerfeld has had a joint studio with his artist colleague Angelika Kühnen since 1994 , first in Breinig , then in Stolberg - Vicht (European Art Courtyard Vicht) and since 2012 in Stolberg-Büsbach (European Art Courtyard). Ritzerfeld's work is represented in numerous collections and museums, e. B. in the Suermondt-Ludwig-Museum in Aachen , which received the collection of Peter Lacroix with numerous pictures by Ritzerfeld as a donation in 2005 .

Hartmut Ritzerfeld is one of the founders of the “ Eifelmaler ” group , together with Win Braun , Emil Sorge and Franz-Bernd Becker .
