Alex Pomarol
Alex Pomarol is a Spanish physicist doing research at the University of Barcelona and CERN in Geneva.
He became known, among other things, for his work on the unification of basic forces.
The unification of strong interaction , weak interaction and electromagnetic force without the gravitation is called the great unified theory (GUT = Grand Unified Theory). This unification is assumed because of the similarity in the mathematical structure of the three theories. Alex Pomarol extended the model of a distorted spacetime that is postulated by the Randall-Sundrum model .
