Alex Scarrow

Alex Scarrow (born February 14, 1966 ) is a British musician and science fiction writer.

Life

After finishing school, Scarrow began playing guitar in a band. Since he saw no prospects of success in the music business, after ten years of working as a graphic and computer game designer , he worked in the 1990s on the development of computer games such as Waterworld , Evolva , The Thing , Spartan , Gates of Troy , Legion Arena , Ultimate Soccer Manager with.

At the same time, he began writing screenplays and developed his first novel from his draft script A Thousand Suns in 2006, which was a success. Further novels followed, e.g. B. October Skies in 2008. In 2010 the first of a planned nine volumes of his Time Riders novel series about a group of time-traveling teenagers was published.

Scarrow lives in Norwich , is married and has one son. His brother is the author Simon Scarrow .
