Alex Watson (Modern Pentathlete)

Alex Watson (born October 24, 1957 in Mosman ) is a former Australian athlete who was active in modern pentathlon .

He took part in the 1984 Olympic Games . In Los Angeles he reached 15th place in the individual and 14th place with the team. Four years later, he finished 61st at the Olympic Games in Seoul. However, he was tested positive for caffeine during the doping control and was disqualified. In 1992 Watson took part in his third Olympic Games . In Barcelona he finished 63rd in the singles and 16th with the Australian team.
