Alexander Olbrich (actor)

Alexander Olbrich (* around 1863 ; † after 1915 ) was a German theater actor .

Life

Olbrich began his stage career in Lüneburg in 1884, came to Iserlohn in 1886, Wesel in 1887 and Heidelberg in 1888. In 1889 he was engaged at the Hoftheater Oldenburg, where he stayed until 1898 and enjoyed great popularity during this long period. In 1899 he worked at the Belle Alliancetheater in Berlin and one year later joined the Association of the Düsseldorf City Theater, where he remained until at least 1902. In the remaining years before the outbreak of World War I , he was a long-time member of the Dresden Residence Theater.

From the long series of his performances are "Schummerich", "Reis-Reislingen", "Feldt" etc.

Olbrich was last mentioned as an actor in Dresden address books in 1915. His subsequent life is currently unknown.
