Alexander Viktorovich Botscharow
Alexander Wiktorowitsch Botscharow ( Russian Александр Викторович Бочаров ; born February 26, 1975 in Irkutsk ) is a Russian cyclist .
Alexander Botscharow became a professional cyclist in 1999 with Besson Chaussures-Nippon Hodo . After a year he switched to the French team Ag2r Prévoyance , the successor team to Casino. There he contested the Tour de France for the first time and finished it in 17th place overall. He could not repeat this result in his following three participations. From 2004 he drove with ProTeam Crédit Agricole , from 2009 to 2010 with Katjuscha .
