Alexander Viktorovich Uvarov
Alexander Wiktorowitsch Uvarow ( Russian Алекса́ндр Ви́кторович Ува́ров ; born January 13, 1960 in Orechowo-Sujewo , RSFSR , USSR ) is a former Soviet football goalkeeper and a current football coach.
Uvarow has played for the first team of Dynamo Moscow since the 1981 season , with this team he won the Soviet Cup in 1984 . In 1991 he moved to Israel to Maccabi Tel Aviv . With Maccabi he was three times Israeli champion and twice cup winner .
Uvarow played a total of eleven times for the Soviet national team between April 1990 and May 1991 . He took part in the 1990 World Cup in Italy and came during this tournament to appearances in the preliminary rounds against Argentina and Cameroon . He is currently the goalkeeping coach of Maccabi Tel Aviv and the Israeli national team .
