Alexandru Aldea

Alexandru I. Aldea (* around 1397, † 1436 ) was prince of Wallachia from 1431 to 1436.

Alexandru also carried the title of Prince of Moldova . In the struggle for the Wallachian throne he was killed by Vlad II Dracul in 1436 . Alexandrus father Mircea cel Bătrân was also the father of Alexandrus half-brother Vlad II, whose mother Mara Tomaj was of Hungarian origin and concubine of Mircea cel Bătrân.
