Alexey Pavlov (born October 21, 1991 in Moscow ) is a German pool player of Russian descent.

Career

Alexey started playing billiards at 1. BC Mölln in 2007. The north German club later changed its name to 1. PBT Lübeck. After several North German championship titles, he finally qualified for the German pool championship .

In his first German championship in the men's 14/1 in 2010 , he managed to advance to the quarter-finals, where he finally lost 97: 150 against the European champion Dominic Jentsch . In the following two years he made it to the semi-finals; In 2011 he only just lost to Oliver Ortmann in 14/1 144: 150 and in 2012 again to Jentsch 5: 8 in the 8-ball competition. This was the second time he missed the finals, but he still secured the bronze medal.
