Alfian bin Sa'at

Alfian bin Sa'at (born July 18, 1977 in Singapore ) is a Singaporean writer and poet. He is an ethnic Malay and of Javanese , Minangkabau and Hakka origins and is regularly referred to as the “ enfant terrible ” of his country. His provocative work includes poetry, prose and plays.

He was a student at the Raffles Institution and Raffles Junior College . Alfian was the head of Creative Arts Programs and participated in their creative programs. His work is performed in Malaysia and Singapore and he works for the theater company W! LD RICE .
