Alfred Müller-Stocker (born March 8, 1938 in Baar , Canton Zug ) is a Swiss entrepreneur . Among other things, he is the founder of Alfred Müller AG and the St. Martin Foundation .

Life

Alfred Müller was born on March 8, 1938 to Alfred and Maria Müller-Hegglin. After his apprenticeship as a bricklayer at Leo Hürlimann AG in Zug , he rose to the position of foreman, foreman and site manager. In 1964 he married Annaliese Stocker. From this marriage there were three children.

In 1962 he realized his first building in Baar, a three-family house on Schutzengelstrasse. In 1965, Alfred Müller went into business for himself and founded a sole proprietorship, which he converted into a stock corporation in 1969. Alfred Müller AG was initially primarily active in residential construction , but from the 1970s onwards it also became involved in office and commercial construction. In the 1980s, the company expanded from German-speaking Switzerland to Western Switzerland and Ticino . Alfred Müller is Honorary Chairman of the Board of Directors of Alfred Müller AG.

In 1992, Alfred Müller founded the St. Martin Foundation based in Baar, of which he is Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
