Alfredo Harp Helú (* 1944 in Mexico City ) is a Mexican entrepreneur .

Life

The richest Mexican Carlos Slim Helú is his cousin. Together with Roberto Hernández Ramírez , he founded the company Grupo Financiero Banamex . According to Forbes magazine, Helú is one of the richest Mexicans .

In 1994 Helú was kidnapped and released after paying a ransom.
