Algar Seco

Algar Seco is a rock formation near the resort of Carvoeiro , a former fishing town in the Algarve , Portugal . The rock formations were created over thousands of years by wind and waves that washed out the rocks from shell limestone. Today the resulting grottos are a popular tourist destination in the Algarve.
