Alianza por el Gran Cambio

Alianza por el Gran Cambio (German: Alliance for the Great Change ) was an alliance of bourgeois parties in Peru to support the presidential candidacy of the liberal economist Pedro Pablo Kuczynski ("PPK") on the occasion of the 2011 elections .

The parties involved were the Christian Democratic-conservative Partido Popular Cristiano (PPC), the Alianza para el Progreso , the Evangelical-conservative party Restauración Nacional , as well as the Partido Humanista Peruano (PHP) positioned to the left of the center .

Kuczynski was able to - after an election campaign aimed entirely at himself - in the first round of the presidential election on April 10, 2011, 18.51% of the votes, but was eliminated in third place.

In the election to Congress on the same day, the alliance won 14.42% of the vote and was able to fill 12 of the 130 seats in the new Congress. The alliance was able to send one of the five Peruvian representatives to the Andean parliament with 13.94% of the vote.
