Alkimenes (son of Glaucus)

Alkimenes ( Greek  Ἀλκιμένης ) is a figure of Greek mythology and son of the King of Corinth Glaucus .

According to a variant of the myth handed down in the library of Apollodorus , Alkimenes was unwittingly slain by his brother Bellerophon , which was the cause of Bellerophon's banishment from Corinth. According to other sources , also mentioned in the library , the name of the slain brother was Deliades or Peiren.
