AllBright Foundation

The AllBright Foundation is a non-profit German-Swedish foundation that advocates for more women and diversity in management positions in business. The name "AllBright" is inspired by the former US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright , can be translated from English as All (are) clever and, according to the foundation, refers to the meritocratic approach, management teams with the "brightest minds", speak with those for to fill the corresponding positions of the most qualified candidates. The foundation was established in Stockholm in 2011. The founder is the Swedish entrepreneur Sven Hagströmer. The sister branch, which is also privately financed, has existed in Berlin since 2016, and another office is planned in Frankfurt .

The management of the German AllBright Foundation is subject to Wiebke Ankersen and Christian Berg. The Board of Trustees, whose members hold leading positions in various corporate sectors, also provides advice and support. Are represented in the Council Rainer Esser , Anna Sophie Herken, Fränzi Kuehne, Amanda Lundeteg, Florian Nöll , Nicole Peper, Laura speaking man, Axel Wall Rabenstein and Tanja Wielgoss .

Foundation work

The aim of the foundation is to create media and corporate culture awareness for the topic of equality between men and women by means of transparency and factual presentation. Against this background, it carries out active public relations work and, by organizing its own events, opens up the space for the networking of committed managers.

Twice a year, the foundation publishes reports in which it uses current data to disclose the development process of the proportion of women on the supervisory and executive boards of German listed companies . Based on the results presented, the companies are assigned to “white”, “gray” and “black lists” using a ranking.
