Alla Churikova

Alla Churikova (Russian: Алла Чурикова) (* 1962 ) is a German animation filmmaker of Ukrainian-Russian descent.

biography

After studying architecture in Kiev , Alla Churikova graduated from the animation school at the state animation studio Ukranimafilm (Prof. Ewhenij Siwokon ). She then worked as an animator at the animation studio Ukranimafilm. Since 1996 she has been making her own films as a director, mostly using sand animation technology. She has lived and worked as a freelance animation filmmaker and illustrator in Munich since 2000. Alla Churikova animated opening and closing credits for the feature films Lilli the Witch - Die Reise nach Mandolan and Russendisko (film) . She is the founder of the film production and painting and animation school Allanimation in Munich.
