Anna Reitler

Anna Reitler (nee Schnitzler; born June 3, 1894 in Liblar , † June 23, 1948 in Markkleeberg ) was a German politician (KPD).

Live and act

Reitler was born the daughter of a worker. She attended elementary school . She then made her living as a maid. In 1918 Reitler joined the USPD in Cologne. In 1922 she became a member of the Communist Party of Germany (KPD).

In the Reichstag elections of May 1924 Reitler was a candidate of their party for the constituency 20 (Köln-Aachen) in the Reichstag voted, which it belonged until December of that year. According to the Reichstag Handbuch, she was a housewife at the time of her election. After leaving Parliament, Reitler was no longer politically active, according to Hermann Weber.
