Theoretical climatology

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Theoretical climatology is concerned, starting from the theoretical meteorology , with the physical-mathematical description of long-term processes in the Earth's atmosphere . The aim is to check the application of the laws and procedures and to develop models with which the change in the climate can be estimated in longer-term periods when there are changes in essential boundary conditions .
