The General German Rottweiler Club (ADRK) is a German dog breeding association .

history

The ADRK was founded in 1907 and is based in Minden, North Rhine-Westphalia . The club's chairman is René Külzer. The ADRK is a member of the Verband für das Deutsche Hundewesen (VDH) and thus indirectly also a member of the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI).

The purpose of the association is to maintain, consolidate and deepen the characteristics of the Rottweiler as well as to advise its members on all cynological issues.

In the General German Rottweiler Club there are 21 regional groups, which in turn consist of different district groups. They organize regular dog shows and sometimes do dog sports .

In addition to contacting breeders, the ADRK also offers puppies and young dogs as well as detailed information about the Rottweiler on its website . In addition, the FCI breed standard can be viewed, which is determined by the club and according to which it breeds.
