Almaty Aviation (branding Almaty Avia Cargo ) was a cargo airline from Kazakhstan . The company was founded in 2002 and took up flight operations with an Antonov An-12 in the same year . Another An-12 followed in December 2002. At the beginning of 2008 it operated another An-12 with 26 employees and finally ceased flight operations in the same year. Nevertheless, in July 2009, the company was put on the list of airlines banned from operating in the European Union .
