criticism

Criticism is being leveled at AGRA's economic connection to corporations such as Monsanto , Cargill , DuPont , Dow Chemical , BASF and Bayer with regard to the fact that the BMGF holds a significant proportion of the company's shares. In particular, the promotion of the use of chemical fertilizers and hybrid seeds as well as the destruction of established smallholder structures increase the regions' dependence on large corporations. There are personal connections between the BMGF Board of Directors and Monsanto.
