Allianz Live nonviolently
The Alliance to Live Free of Violence is an amalgamation of Austrian civil society organizations and victim protection organizations. The name and the logo are derived from the campaign "Live nonviolently to prevent violence against women and children". The Alliance was founded in 2016 and was created by the cooperation of the member organizations in the creation of the shadow report on the implementation of the Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence (also called " Istanbul Convention ").
Goals and Activities
The alliance has made it its task to support the implementation of the Istanbul Convention, to disseminate the recommendations of the Council of Europe Expert Committee (GREVIO - Group of Experts on Action against Violence against Women and Domestic Violence) and to promote the full implementation of the Convention in Austria.
