The Allison Glacier is a glacier on Heard Island in the Indian Ocean . It flows from Big Ben in a westerly direction to the coast, which it reaches south of Cape Gazert .
The glacier is named after the glaciologist Ian Allison, who examined it in 1971 on a Franco-Australian expedition.
