Alma Lawton (born August 17, 1896 in Woolwich , † February 24, 1982 in London ) was a British actress .
Life
Alma Lawton was considered one of the best British film actresses of the time and was seen in various films. She was best known for the films Lights Out (1946), Mary Poppins (1964) and One Step Beyond (1959). She last appeared as an actress in 1973. Her oeuvre includes 17 film and television productions.
