The Almensee is a lake in the Rhine valley , which is located in the district of the city of Bad Dürkheim . It is located southeast of the Ungstein district and is elongated in a west-east direction. The Bad Dürkheim airfield and the Palatinate Northern Railway are in the immediate vicinity . At the lake itself is a campsite and an inn called Almensee .
