Almtaler sundial

The Almtaler sundial is a sequence of peaks in the northern Dead Mountains . Neunerkogel 1900  m above sea level A. , Zehnerkogel 1929  m above sea level A. , Elferkogel 2040  m above sea level A. , Zwölferlkogel 2099  m above sea level A. and Einserkogel 1945  m above sea level. A. fall with steep walls into the Almtal and served the local farmers as a natural sundial . There are no marked climbs to the summit of the Almtaler Sundial and they are very rarely visited by tourists. There is a small summit cross on each of the peaks.
