The Zwölferkogel is 2099 m above sea level. A. high mountain in the Dead Mountains . It is the summit of the Almtaler sundial that is furthest to the north . The Zwölferkogel drops off to the north with a steep edge, while to the east it ends with a wide, flat wall to the Grießkar. There are climbing routes up to level IV in the east face . There is a summit cross on the northern, 40 m lower pre-summit.
