Alofi is an 18 km², mostly uninhabited island of volcanic origin in the South Pacific , which belongs to the French overseas territory of Wallis and Futuna as part of the Kingdom of Alo . With a height of 417  m , the Mont Kolofau is the highest point on the island.

Together with the larger neighboring island of Futuna, the island forms the archipelago of the Horn Islands . Alofi is surrounded by a coral reef and separated from the northwestern neighboring island of Futuna by the 1.6 km wide Chenal Sain.
