Alosen is a village in the political municipality of Oberägeri in the Swiss canton of Zug with around 1000 inhabitants. It is on the main road from Oberägeri to Biberbrugg over the Ratenpass . Alosen can be reached by public transport on bus line 10 (Oberägeri-Alosen-Raten) operated by Zugerland Verkehrsbetriebe .

Alosen has a village cheese dairy (Dorfchäsi Ott), a restaurant (Raten) and a car garage. Other companies are a prefabricated house company, a window factory and the Iten agricultural machinery garage. Agriculture is also an important factor in the Alosen economy. The location of Alosen in the hiking area of ​​the Raten- Gottschalkenberg region is significant for tourism .
