Biberbrugg is a traffic junction and a town in the canton of Schwyz in Switzerland .
The place was primarily a river crossing over the Biber , since 1877 it has given its name to the Biberbrugg train station on the Wädenswil – Einsiedeln railway line , which runs from the Schindellegi towards Einsiedeln . As early as 1891, Biberbrugg became a railway junction with the construction of the Pfäffikon SZ – Arth-Goldau railway of the Swiss Southeast Railway. Around the train station, a settlement arose that belongs to the municipality of Einsiedeln (the " Bennau district" ); the train station and the four-lane main road 8 (St. Gallen – Rapperswil – Schwyz – Ingenbohl), from which the road to Einsiedeln branches off without crossing, are in the Höfner community of Feusisberg .
