Alphonse Yanghat

Alphonse Yanghat (born May 4, 1957 ) is a former sprinter of the Republic of the Congo and was a participant in the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich .

He qualified for the 100 m competitions with his personal best of 10.4 s. He was eliminated in seventh place with a time of 10.95 s. At the age of 15 at the time, he is the youngest participant ever to take part in this competition at the Olympic Games. He is also the youngest participant from the Republic of the Congo to have competed in the Olympics to date.
