Alpmann Schmidt is a nationwide legal revision course and a specialist publishing company with headquarters in Münster .
Companies
Alpmann Schmidt was founded in 1956 by Josef Alpmann (1920–2004) and Kurt Schmidt (1921–1981). The first oral courses began in Münster in 1956. An exam course has been taking place since 1957, which is officially recognized as a distance exam course. The first scripts were published in 1961, and in 1970 the overview of case law (RÜ) appeared for the first time.

The legal publishing company Alpmann Schmidt publishes a series of legal scripts comprising over 90 volumes. Areas of law are civil law , criminal law and public law.
The publishing program also includes index cards. The case law overview (RÜ) appears monthly, in which current court decisions are prepared in an expert manner. Alpmann Schmidt offers distance exams with individual correction and grading for the 1st and 2nd exams as well as the beginning semester on a weekly basis .
The Alpmann Brockhaus is published in cooperation with the publishing house CH Beck oHG . The Langenscheidt Alpmann specialist dictionary Recht Kompakt is published in German-English and English-German together with Langenscheidt KG . From a collaboration with Saarbrücken law professors one is online - Refresher emerged.
