Around 1690 an iron hammer and blast furnace were built at the lower mill, which operated until the 18th century. After the abolition of patrimonial Kundratice formed from 1850 a district of the minority Křížánov in the district of Velké Meziříčí . The Kundratice municipality has existed since 1880. In the village there were three water mills, two board saws, a forge and a brick factory. Mother-of-pearl was manufactured in the first half of the 20th century. At the beginning of 1961 the Okres Velké Meziříčí was dissolved and the municipality was assigned to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou .
