Radkov (German Ratkow ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located 13 kilometers northeast of Velké Meziříčí and belongs to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou .
geography
Radkov is located in the Křižanovská vrchovina ( Krischanauer Uplands ) belonging to the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands in the valley basin of the Radkovský creek. The place is surrounded by numerous ponds, of which the Nohavice and Kuchyň are the largest. To the west rises the Kuchyň ( Kuchelberg , 557 m), in the east extends the forest area Černý les.
Neighboring towns are Moravec in the north, Radkovičky and Jemnice in the northeast, Nový Dvůr and Krčma in the east, Meziboří and Dolní Libochová in the southeast, Horní Libochová in the south, Dolní Hlíny and Horní Hlíny in the southwest, Radenice in the west and Pikárec in the northwest.
history
The first written mention of the village and the Radkov fortress took place in 1368. In 1406 the Staňkov von Olešnice Radkov bought the property and the property belonged to the Moravec manor . At the end of the 15th century, the Lords of Pernstein Radkov and connected the village to the Křižanover goods. When Vratislav von Pernstein received the property from his brother Adalbert / Vojtěch († 1561) in 1560 , the Radkov fortress was in desolation. In 1562 Vratislav sold the Křižanov estate to Zdenko Lhotský von Ptení. In the 1580s the rule was divided between Václav and Prokop Lhotský. Prokop got Křižanov and Václav the separated rule of Moravec. Václav Lhotský sold Moravec with all accessories to Jan the Elder in 1595. Ä. Munk from Eibenschütz . Radkov remained subject to Moravec until 1848.
After the abolition of patrimonial Radkov formed a community in the Neustadtl district from 1850 . In 1950 the community was assigned to the Okres Bystřice nad Pernštejnem. At the beginning of 1961 it was incorporated into Moravec, and at the same time Radkov came to Okres Žďár nad Sázavou . The community has existed again since 1990.
