In 1590, Malý Ubušín, together with eleven other villages in the area , was incorporated into the Kunstadt rule , to which it belonged until 1848. From 1590 Malý Ubušín was the seat of a judge who was appointed by the Art City rule.

After the abolition of patrimonial Malý Ubušín formed a municipality in the Neustadtl district . The place name Ubušínek has been used since the beginning of the 20th century . In 1961 the village was incorporated into Ubušín and assigned to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou . In 1964 it was reorganized to Sulkovec . In 1990 the community was rebuilt.
