Pavlínov (German Pawlinau ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located ten kilometers west of Velké Meziříčí and belongs to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou .
geography
Pavlínov is located in the south of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands in the valley of the brook Pohořílský potok. The Pavlínovská horka (614 m) rises to the north, the Jalovcová hora (584 m) to the east, the Hradiště (661 m) southwest of the Hradiště (661 m), the Panský kopec (668 m) to the west and the Křiby (613 m) and Chlumek (628 m) to the northwest m).
Neighboring towns are Chlumek , Benešov, Pouště and Geršov in the north, Otín in the northeast, Pohořílky in the east, Horní Radslavice in the southeast, Bochovice in the south, Svatoslav and Zátiší in the southwest, U Čížků, Pouště and Brodek in the west and Kamenička and Dvůrwest.
history
Pavlinov was probably founded shortly after the establishment of the Měřín provost in 1298 and was located on the important connecting route between Měřín and Třebíč . The first written mention of the village belonging to the provost's office took place in 1479. After the provost's office had died out, Pavlinov was one of the estates that Emperor Ferdinand I inherited in 1556 to Vratislav von Pernstein . In 1559 Jan the Elder bought Ä. Stránecký from Stránec the village. Stránecký had a fortress built and made Pavlinov a charity . After the Battle of White Mountain , Aleš Stránecký's property was confiscated. 1653 Pavlínov, together with the rule Zhoř to the Convention of the Discalced Carmelites of St. Anna in Mannersdorf . Thereafter, numerous changes of ownership take place and in 1729 the Pavlinov farm was added to the Zhoř rule and connected to Velké Meziříčí . The first local seal dates from 1668 and shows St. Martin on horseback. There is evidence of a judge in Pavlinov since 1787.
After the abolition of patrimonial in 1850, the political municipality Pavlinov was established in the district administration Velké Meziříčí. Because of the high level of poverty, Leopoldina gave Princess Lobkowicz a meadow at the forester's house to the community in 1860 as a pasture. Three poor houses were also set up. The village has been called Pavlínov since 1921 . In a major fire in 1934, 21 houses and other outbuildings burned down. At the beginning of 1961 Pavlínov was assigned to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou . Between 1980 and 1990 the place was incorporated into Otín.
