After frequent changes of ownership, Wilhelm II von Pernstein acquired the village and the fortress in 1503 . Johann von Pernstein finally had to sell the goods pledged in 1589 in 1596. The fortress was transformed into a renaissance castle at the end of the 16th century. In the following time the name Zámecká Rožínka was created , which served to better differentiate it from Rožínka Opatská .
In 1731 the Mitrovský family acquired Rožínka from Nemyšl Zámecká. Dolní Rožínka experienced its heyday under Johann Nepomuk Mitrovský von Nemyšl, who ruled from 1781 to 1799. Count Johann Nepomuk, who was a supporter of the Enlightenment, not only had the castle renewed, but also the Tempel Forest Park. With the Temple of the Enlightenment, he had a family tomb built there.

After the lifting of patrimonial formed Dolni Rožínka t. From 1850 Zámecká Rožinka was a municipality in the Neustadtl district . The place name Dolní Rožínka has been used since 1920 . In 1947 the community was assigned to the Okres Bystřice nad Pernštejnem in the course of the dissolution of the Okres Nové Město na Moravě. Between 1954 and 1956, during geological exploration work in the valley of the Nedvědička, a minable uranium deposit was found. In 1957, the Rožná I colliery was sunk in the temple forest. Uraninite has been mined since the beginning of 1958 .
1961 the incorporation of Rodkov and Horní Rozsíčka took place, at the same time the village came to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou . The Rodkov community has existed again since 1992.
The subsidiary oz GEAM Dolní Rožínka, which belongs to the state-owned company DIAMO sp, was the only uranium mine still in operation in the Czech Republic until 2017 . The extraction takes place from a depth of up to 1000 m. The annual output is 400 tons of pitchblende and coffinite . In April 2007, the Czech government extended the operating period to 2012.
