Nové Dvory (German Neuhof ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located five kilometers east of Přibyslav and belongs to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou .

geography

Nové Dvory is located southwest of the Saar Mountains on a ridge in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands above the Sázava and Losenický potok valleys . The Merk (566 m) rises to the east. The state road I / 19 between Přibyslav and Žďár nad Sázavou runs through Nové Dvory . The railway line from Havlíčkův Brod to Žďár nad Sázavou runs south along the Sázava ; The Nížkov railway station is located a good kilometer southwest on the Červený Mlýn .

Neighboring towns are Pořežín in the north, Velká Losenice in the northeast, Samotín, Šlakhamry , Najdek and Sázava in the east, Huťský Dvůr, Kopaniny and Rosička in the southeast, Nížkov and Buková in the south, Olešenka in the southwest, Ronov nad Sázavou in the west as well as Northwest.

history

The first written mention of the village took place in 1444 when a Peter Thalafusk von Neuhof in Skrýšov and Janovice appeared as a witness. According to ancient traditions, there was previously a manor house on the Sázava, which was torn away during a flood. As a result, a new farm and settlement are said to have been built above the valley. From 1783 school lessons were held in Neuhof. In 1819, 221 people lived in the 36 houses in the village. In 1837 the construction of a school house for a one-class village school began. Until 1848 Nové Dvorý belonged to the Polna domain

After the abolition of patrimonial, České Nové Dvory / Neuhof formed a municipality in the political district of Deutschbrod from 1850 . In 1855 the municipality was assigned to the Primislau district and in 1868 to the Polna district. From 1884 Nové Dvory belonged to the Chotěboř district . In 1898 the railway was built south of the village. Between 1940 and 1945 Neuhof was part of the Neustadtl district and returned to Chotěboř after the end of the war. In 1949 Nové Dvory was assigned to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou . In 1960 it was incorporated into Velká Losenice . The community has existed again since 1992. Nové Dvorý now consists of 84 houses.
