history

The village probably originated in the second half of the 15th century and belonged to the Pernstein domain . Lessny was first mentioned in a document in 1500, when Wilhelm II of Pernstein lifted the obligation to dispense stately wine after the division of rule in the 25 villages of the Neustadtl - Ingrowitz share. Lisstny was subordinate to the judge in Věcov . In the middle of the 16th century a mill was built below the village on the Frischawa. After the death of Vratislav von Pernstein , his sons Johann and Maximilian sold the indebted Neustadtl estate to Wilhelm Dubský von Třebomyslice in 1587. In addition to the mill estate, there were still nine farms in Líšná at that time. Dubský lost its goods after the Battle of White Mountain in 1624. From 1638 the rule came to Simon Kratzer von Schönsberg. He planned the use of the iron deposits in the Saar mountains. In 1646 Líšná consisted of ten properties. Franz Maximilian Kratzer realized the plan of his father, who was shot by the Swedes in 1645, from the middle of the 17th century. Several iron shafts were built near Lischna and the mill on the Frischawa was converted into a hammer mill and fresh fire for the Kadau blast furnace. The Dolní Líšná hammer settlement was built around the hammer . The oldest local seal dates from 1749. In the 19th century, iron ore was mined in the mines of God's gift and Virgin Mary .

After the abolition of patrimonial Líšná formed a municipality in the political district of Neustadtl from 1850 . When the ironworks in Kadov closed in the second half of the 19th century, mining in Líšná also ended. In 1892 a weaving mill started operations. On December 1, 1930, 277 people lived in the 50 houses of the community. 142 of them were Protestants and 132 were Catholics. 1949 Líšná was assigned to the Okres Polička. Since 1961 the community belongs to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou. In 1976 it was incorporated into Sněžné . The Líšná municipality has existed again since 1990. In 1991 the textile factory was shut down and a large rabbit breeding facility was set up there. The Líšenský dvůr serves as a recreation center for the University of Veterinary Science in Brno.
