Horní Libochová (German Upper Libochau ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located twelve kilometers northeast of Velké Meziříčí and belongs to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou .
geography
Horní Libochová is located in the Křižanovská vrchovina ( Krischanauer Uplands ) belonging to the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands in the valley basin of the Libochovka brook . The place is surrounded by numerous ponds; Sadecký rybník is located in Horní Libochová, while Velký Navrátil to the east is significantly larger. To the north rises the Chuchelná ( Kuchelberg , 557 m), southeast of the Křiblík (582 m), in the south of the Vinohrádek (560 m) and in the northwest of the Spálený Kopec (595 m).
Neighboring towns are Dolní Hlíny and Radkov in the north, Nový Dvůr and Krčma in the northeast, Dolní Libochová in the east, Nová Ves and Bojanov in the southeast, Kadolec in the south, Kundratice in the southwest, Jakubovský Dvůr and Jívoví in the west and Horní Hlíwesten and Pikárec in the north.
history
The first documentary mention of Lubochová was in 1358 as part of the property of the lower town of Křižanov, which belonged to the Meziříčí rule . In 1571 the place was attached to the Moravec rule . There is evidence of a fresh fire in the east between 1703 and 1704 that belonged to the Kundratitz blast furnace. At the end of the 18th century the settlements Dolní Hlíny and Horní Hlíny emerged in the course of the parceling of the Hlíny farm.
After the abolition of patrimonial formed Horní Libochov 1850 a district of the Market town in the district Krizanov Velké Meziříčí . The village of Horní Libochová has existed since 1867. In 1890 a one-class village school was established. The municipality was assigned to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou at the beginning of 1961 , at the same time the settlements Dolní Hlíny and Horní Hlíny received the status of districts.
The baroque stone bridge from 1749 was demolished and rebuilt in the Velké Meziříčí Street Museum.
