history

Vícovek Malý was first mentioned in a document in 1360. The place has probably belonged to the possessions of the Lords of Pernstein since its foundation . A coat of arms legend of the Vaňha family, according to which the ancestors of the charcoal burner Vaněk should have owned the place, has been refuted by more recent findings. The village of Bořínov, documented since 1235, was to the south. It belonged to the Doubravník Augustinian convent , and in 1596 a manorial court was built in its place. Marble ( Ujčovský mramor ) has been quarried on Mount Ochoza since the Middle Ages . a. was used for the construction of the church in Doubravník. On the left side of the Svratka was the free noble farm Zemanství and at the foot of the mountains the silver mines belonging to the Stiepanau district were operated by Horní Čepí, later zinc and lead were mined there until the 18th century. In 1490 Anna von Ujčůvek owned the Zemanství farm. Since 1491 there is a free farm in Ujčůvek , which belonged to Vaněk von Čep and his wife Dorota von Ujčůvek. Furthermore, the place was the seat of a burglar, whose court was also free from labor. Since the beginning of the 16th century, the village can also be traced as an old property of the Pernsteiner. In 1775 the Čuhl family acquired the manorial mill. The settlement of Kassan / Kasany was founded in 1803.

After the abolition of patrimonial Ujčov formed from 1850 with the district Kasany a municipality in the district Neustadtl . In the period from 1924 to 1934, the marble quarry on the Ochoza was resumed and serpentinite was mined on the Bureš side from 1926 to 1934 . In 1949 the community was assigned to the Okres Bystřice nad Pernštejnem. 1961 was the incorporation of Dolní Čepí (with Horní Čepí), Kovářová and Lískovec; at the same time it was assigned to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou. Between 1980 and 1990 Ujčov was incorporated into Nedvědice . The Ujčov district today consists of 112 houses in which around 410 people live.
