history
The village, which originally belonged to the Osové rulership, was first mentioned in 1364. The place name probably goes back to the medieval German name Kadolt. Kadoltz (Kadolts) in the sense of a village owned by the Kadolt. Around 1364 the place was divided. The von Ronow brothers owned one half with the inheritance court , the other half was owned by Heinrich von Ronow. In 1372 Jan the Elder of Meziříčí acquired the entire village and joined it to his rule Meziříčí . Later Kadolec came back to the Osové rule and in 1552 was attached to Ořechov. Together with this, the village became part of the Křižanov rule in 1687.
After the abolition of patrimonial Kadolec formed from 1850 a district of the market Křižanov in the district administration Groß Meseritsch . In 1867 the political municipality of Kadolec was established. After the cancellation of the Okres Velké Meziříčí, the municipality came to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou at the beginning of 1961 . In 1976 Kadolec was again incorporated into Křižanov. The community has existed again since 1990.
