Nová Ves (German Neudorf ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located 14 kilometers northeast of Velké Meziříčí and belongs to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou .
geography
Nová Ves is located in the Křižanovská vrchovina ( Krischanauer Uplands) belonging to the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands by the Vesník pond. To the west rises the Křiblík (582 m) and in the southwest of the Strážnice (583 m).
Neighboring towns are Dolní Libochová in the north, Meziboří and Borky in the northeast, Radňoves in the east, Vidonín in the southeast, Milešín in the south, Heřmanov in the southwest, Bojanov in the west and Horní Libochová in the northwest.
history
The village was first mentioned in documents in 1349 as the property of Jindřich von Osové . In 1364 Jindřich von Ronov was registered as the owner of half the village in the land register and in the same year Hynko von Osové bequeathed the other half to Ruček von Hluboké. In 1398 the Lords of Pernstein bought the place. Other owners were Václav and Hynek Radkovský. Over time, after the Rysova Castle, which died out in 1617, the village was referred to as Nová Ves Rysovská and later as Nová Ves Radkovská . In 1675 Nová Ves belonged to the Mitrov estate.
After the abolition of patrimonial Nová Ves / Neudorf formed from 1850 a district of the municipality Heřmanov in the district of Velké Meziříčí . The municipality of Nová Ves has existed since 1882. In 1947 Nová Ves came to Okres Velká Bíteš and after its dissolution at the beginning of 1961 the community was assigned to Okres Žďár nad Sázavou .
In 1989 the traditional procession of the Madonna of Carmel from Vidonín via Nová Ves to Heřmanov was resumed.
