history

The village was founded in the second half of the 13th century during the colonization of the forests by the Lords of Medlov . The first mention, dated 1247, in connection with Stephan de Zubri has proven to be a forgery by Antonín Boček . The village can be traced for the first time when Imgram de Lapis sold the Zubstein rule to Ješek and Beneš von Boskowitz in 1348. The Boskowitzers struck the acquired goods from Pysselecz Castle , and Zubrzim as their accessories again in 1358 when Margrave Johann prescribes the Bystřice rule Heinrich to Ješek von Boskowitz was mentioned. In 1446 Johann von Pernstein acquired the Pysselecz rule. Subsequently, Studnice belonged to the Pernstein dominion and after their division in 1500 came to the Neustadtl - Ingrowitz share. After Vratislav von Pernstein had the surrounding towns assigned to the town of Neustadtl in 1564 as pledge for a loan of 10,000 guilders, Zubrzy also became part of the Neustadtl lordship. In 1580 Vratislav decreed the Neustadtler beer compulsory in Zubrzy, like other villages. The oldest place seal dates from 1749.

After the abolition of patrimonial , Zubří formed a community in the Neustadtl district from 1850 . Between 1903 and 1905 the local railway Deutschbrod – Tischnowitz built the railway line from Saar to Tischnowitz south of the village . At that time, the one- shift Žákova cihelna also belonged to Zubří , which in 1910 had 17 residents. After the closure of the Žákschem brickworks on the road to Nové Město na Moravě, the buildings were demolished. In 1939 the construction of the Podkopec settlement began on the northeast slope of Kopec. After the dissolution of the Okres Nové Město na Moravě, the municipality was assigned to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou in 1949 . In 1980 it was incorporated into Nové Město na Moravě . The community has existed again since the beginning of 1992.
