history

The first documentary mention of the village took place in 1350. Pavlovičky was in the border area of the Pernstein and Moravec dominions to the goods of Porta Coeli , which met on Berkův kámen. The village belonged to the Moravec-Mitrov estate until the middle of the 19th century. In the Bobrůvka valley there was an iron hammer below Pavlovičky. In 1834 the village consisted of 12 houses and had 105 inhabitants. At that time, a mill and board saw was operated in the village. The parish was Olší.

After the abolition of patrimonial Pavlovice / Pawlowitz formed a community in the Neustadtl district from 1850 . From 1880 the place was called Moravské Pavlovice , since the end of the 19th century it is called Moravecké Pavlovice . The village consisted of 22 houses in 1900 and had 124 inhabitants who lived from agriculture. After that, the population decreased steadily due to emigration. In 1949 the municipality was assigned to the Okres Bystřice nad Pernštejnem in the course of the dissolution of the Okres Nové Město na Moravě. In 1961 the village came to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou . The Habří district has been part of the municipality since 2007.
