Písečné (German Pisetschna , also Piseczny , Pisetschny ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located five kilometers north of Bystřice nad Pernštejnem and belongs to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou .
geography
Písečné is located on the right above the Svratka valley in the basin of the Písečný brook in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands . To the northeast is the Vír I reservoir. North of the village is the Písečská zmole motocross track . In the north rises the Hora (636 m) and in the southwest of the Kříb (704 m).
Neighboring towns are Dalečín in the north, Vírovka, Veselí and Hluboké in the northeast, Vítochov in the east, Ždánice in the southeast, Domanín in the south, Janovičky in the west, Lhota, Lísek and Velké Janovice in the northwest.
history
The place was first mentioned in 1349, when it belonged to the possessions of Klara von Pernstein along with Dalečín and Vítochov .
The pond Na Botisku used to be in the center of the village , from which swords and fittings were recovered in the 19th century. Swedish coins were still found in 1886. These came from the Swedish War . Legends say that the pond was filled with blood after a battle.
After the abolition of patrimonial Písečný formed a municipality in the Neustadtl district from 1850 . Since 1920 the municipality name has been Písečné . In 1949 the community came to Okres Bystřice nad Pernštejnem and in 1961 to Okres Žďár nad Sázavou . The Písečská zmole motocross track was opened in 1962 with a Kraj championship and later gained international fame. In 1996 an IMBA European championship run was held on the track.
In 1980 Písečné was incorporated into Bystřice nad Pernštejnem. The Ždánice municipality has existed again since 1992.
