Skřinářov is located on the right above the valley of the Bílý potok in the basin of a small tributary in the Krischanauer Uplands ( Křižanovská vrchovina ) in the south of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands . In the north-west rises the Na Skalách (654 m), in the north the Svatá hora (679 m) and the Malý kamenný vrch (592 m). The Bílý potok rises between the latter mountains. The state road 37 between Křižanov and Velká Bíteš and the railway from Brno to Žďár nad Sázavou lead southwest of the village . The Osová Bítýška train station is two kilometers south.

history

The village was first mentioned in 1364 when Henricus de Ossaw (Jindřich z Osového az Ronova) signed the rule of Ossaw to Jan von Bechin (Jan z Bechyně). The place was always part of Ossaw until 1848.

After the abolition of patrimonial Krčmařov formed from 1850 a district of the municipality Osová Bítýška in the district administration Velké Meziříčí. Since 1881 the village formed its own political municipality under the name Křenářov / Krzenarzow . In 1921 the place name was changed to Skřinářov . In 1949 the community was assigned to the Okres Velká Bíteš and after its dissolution it came to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou in 1961 . Between 1973 and 1990 Skřinářov was again a district of Osová Bítýška.
