Bohuňov (German Bohuniow , also Bohunow ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located six kilometers northwest of Bystřice nad Pernštejnem and belongs to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou .

geography

Bohuňov is located in the southeast of the Saar Mountains . The village lies on the left side of the Bystřice at its tributary Bohuňovský potok. To the north rises the Pletenice (734 m), in the east of the Kříb (704 m) and northwest of the Kopec (645 m). To the west of Bohuňov is the Skalský rybník ( Skalla Pond ), to the south of the Domanínský rybník ( Great Doman Pond ).

Neighboring towns are Lísek and Velké Janovice in the north, Janovičky in the east, Ždánice and Domanín in the south-east, Rozsochy and Kundratice in the south, Rovné in the south-west, Skalský Dvůr and Vojtěchov in the west and Lhota in the north-west.

history

The village was first mentioned in documents in 1384. Bohuňov was owned by the lords of Pernstein in the 15th century and the village became part of the Bystřice nad Pernštejnem estate . Bohuňov was the seat of a judge. Flax cultivation began in the second half of the 17th century . In the first half of the 18th century, the Mitrovský von Nemyšl lords acquired the Bystřice rulership together with the Pernštejn Castle and the Dolní Rožínka Castle .

After the abolition of patrimonial Bohuňov formed a community in the Neustadtl district from 1850 . In 1908 a new school building was inaugurated. In 1949 the community came to Okres Bystřice nad Pernštejnem. In 1950 the road to Domanín was built. In 1961 Janovičky was incorporated and the community came to Okres Žďár nad Sázavou . Bohuňov and Janovičky belonged from 1979 to 1990 as districts to Lísek . The community has had a banner and coat of arms since 2000. On the latter, St. Barbara pictured.

At the beginning of 2008 the district Bohuňov had 194 and Janovičky 48 inhabitants.

The municipality Bohuňov consists of the districts Bohuňov ( Bohuniow ) and Janovičky ( Klein Janowitz ), which also form cadastral districts.
