Netín (German Nettin ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located eight kilometers northwest of Velké Meziříčí and belongs to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou .

Netín is located on the edge of the Arnolecké hory in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands . The village is located at the southeastern foot of the Strážnice hill (608 m) above the valleys of the Zátoky and Křibský potok. In the northeast rises the Hora (549 m), southwest of the Černochov (556 m) and Kozinec (555 m). On the cadastre of Netín there are several larger ponds, the Netínský rybník, Vrkoč, Ochoz, Kněžský rybník and Křenčák, and the Mostiště dam to the southeast .

Neighboring towns are Zadní Zhořec , Horní Mlýn, Dolní Mlýn and Záseka in the north, Krásněves in the northeast, Dolní Bory in the east, Olší nad Oslavou and Závist in the southeast, Lavičky and Kochánov in the south, Blízkov in the southwest and Dědkov in the west.

history

The place belonged probably from the middle of the 12th century to the possessions of the monastery Třebíč and in 1298 was transferred to the provost of Měřín . However, a document according to which the village of Nmecino came to the monastery after the death of Duke Vratislav of Brno in 1156 has proven to be a forgery from the end of the 12th century. The year 1370 is considered to be the first documented mention of Vznětín . Jan von Meziříčí had several fish ponds built around Netín in agreement with the margrave and the Trebitsch abbot. In 1498, flooding from the ponds led to a dispute between Wilhelm II von Pernstein and Jan von Lomnice. After the Měřín provost was abolished, the Měřín-Netín reign came into being. In 1556 Měřín was sold to the dominion Deutsch Rudoletz . In 1559 Jan d. Ä. Stránecký from Stránec Netín and proposed it to his rule Zhoř . At that time, Netín was the seat of a judge and there was a distillery in the village. After the Battle of the White Mountain in 1621, the goods of the Stránecký von Stránec were confiscated and sold to Stephan Schmidt von Freyhofen at Kunstadt . In 1653 the convent of the Discalced Carmelites received St. Anna in Mannersdorf the rule of Zhoř. Subsequent owners were from 1680 Rudolf Count Discounta zu Dornberg and from 1695 Johann Dietrich Ritter zu Rummerskirch and his descendants. A parish school existed from 1688. The oldest local seal dates from 1717. In 1728 Zhoř was foreclosed with all accessories and in 1729 it was attached to the Velké Meziříčí estate by the buyer Count Franz Ugarte .

After the abolition of patrimonial Netín formed from 1850 with the districts Kochánov and Zadní Zhorec and the settlement Záseka a municipality in the district administration Velké Meziříčí . In a major fire in July 1887, 37 houses and the school were destroyed. In 1922 the communities Kochánov and Zadní Zhořec were established . In 1961 it was assigned to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou . In 1980 Netín was incorporated into Radostín nad Oslavou . The community has existed again since 1990 and since 2005 it has had a coat of arms and a banner. In 2001, 306 people lived in the 101 houses in the district of Netín. There are also 21 holiday homes.

Community structure

For the municipality Netín consists of the districts Netín ( Nettin ) and Záseka ( Zaseka ), which at the same time also form cadastral districts.

Most recently, the owner of Velké Meziříčí Castle, Josephine Countess Podstatzky-Lichtenstein (1905–2000), a daughter of Count Franz Harrach , was buried in the crypt .
